Connect Claude Code

Claude Code connects to the hosted server with one command. If you have already added the Edgible connector in Claude on the web with the same account, Claude Code may list it already: run claude mcp list first.

Terminal window
claude mcp add --transport http edgible https://mcp.edgible.com/mcp

This adds it for the current project only. Add --scope user to have it in every project, or --scope project to write it to the project’s .mcp.json and share it with your team. Each person who uses a shared entry signs in to Edgible as themselves.

  1. In Claude Code, run /mcp, pick edgible and choose Authenticate. (From a terminal, claude mcp login edgible does the same.)
  2. In the browser tab that opens, sign in to Edgible, pick the organization and choose Allow. The page shows Verified domain claude.ai under Claude Code’s name.
  3. Go back to your terminal. claude mcp list now shows edgible as connected.

Ask Claude Code about your applications, for example “why is the web app’s last deploy stalled?”. Claude Code asks before it runs a tool unless you have allowed it. Every hosted tool only reads.

Hosted connections can’t change anything. To let Claude Code change or redeploy applications, add the local server too, under another name, signed in through the CLI:

Terminal window
edgible auth login
claude mcp add edgible-local -- edgible mcp --allow-write

Keep tool approval on for apply_application_change and redeploy_application. See Local server and CLI.

Terminal window
claude mcp remove edgible

This deletes Claude Code’s stored sign-in. Then revoke Claude Code in Edgible’s Account → Connected apps. See See and revoke connected apps.
