Connect Cursor
Cursor connects to the hosted server by its URL and signs you in through your browser.
Add the server
Section titled “Add the server”Open this link on a computer with Cursor installed (the AI assistants page in the Edgible console has the same link as a button):
Cursor shows the server and asks you to install it. If the link does nothing, update Cursor, or
add the server by hand: put this in ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or in
.cursor/mcp.json for one project.
{ "mcpServers": { "edgible": { "url": "https://mcp.edgible.com/mcp" } }}Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”- In Cursor’s MCP settings, Edgible shows that it needs you to sign in. Select it.
- In the browser, sign in to Edgible, pick the organization and read what Cursor will be able to do.
- Cursor registers itself with Edgible, so the page says Edgible can’t verify this app. If you started this from Cursor just now, choose Allow anyway.
- The browser goes back to Cursor, and Edgible’s tools appear under the server.
Use it
Section titled “Use it”Ask Cursor’s agent about your applications, for example “show me the last 50 log lines of the api app”. Every hosted tool only reads.
To let Cursor change or redeploy applications, use the local server with --allow-write
instead; see Local server and CLI.
Remove it
Section titled “Remove it”Remove or turn off Edgible in Cursor’s MCP settings, or delete its entry from mcp.json. Then
revoke Cursor in Edgible’s Account → Connected apps. See
See and revoke connected apps.
